Like all those that have faced with the Chronology of the Marvel Universe, for assembly the Avengers Chronology Project was necessary to confront the insidious temporal scalability of this fictional universe where the characters do not age and time seems to pass at speeds much lower than the real-time our lives. Unfortunately, there isn't apparently a rule to calculates a linear relationship between the passage of time in Marvel Universe than the reality, and often do not help the internal references within the stories that regularly sentenced to redefine the "sliding timescale" of Marvel time. In fact, many of the events of Heroes's past set in their first appearance of the Silver Age (and beyond) have been revised or repudiated and there have been many "ret-cons" to allow characters to stay young after 50 years of adventures.

The only tips that comes to the aid of chronologists, which obviously adds his personal deductions and assumptions, are all those references to the passage of time posted by Marvel authors within their own stories, especially those that may appear "trustworthy" and "compatible" which in my case were taken into account to create the Calendar of the Marvel Universe below and update of the Avengers Chronology Project.
