In this Chronology Highlight are scheduled every Avengers chronological appearance in issues and tales from 1996 to 1998 and all books that contains a tale or a sequence of pages (chronologically) placed in the "1996-1998" year-period.

Moreover, the highlight not only included Avengers appearances as team but any correlate issue prominent for their continuity chronologically placed in the 1996-1998 year-period, like several books where individual Avengers are together (i.e. team-up or crossover) and, in some cases, books with individual Avengers appearances or non-Avengers appearances since they are important to a key continuity.
